Azure Damselfish

The Azure Damselfish (Chrysiptera hemicyanea) delivers some of the most saturated blue coloration available in a small reef fish, its body a brilliant cobalt blue transitioning to a warm yellow on the lower flanks and belly. Hardy, adaptable, and tolerant of a wide range of water parameters, it is one of the more forgiving fish for developing reef systems. Azure Damsels are active, assertive fish that will establish and defend territory as they mature – best kept in groups in larger systems, or singly in community tanks where tank mates are of similar or larger size. Feed a varied omnivore diet of frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and quality flake. An economical way to introduce vivid blue coloration to the reef display.
