Despite its name, Mycedium elephantoticom is not an angry but rather a vibrantly colored coral. Its short, thick branches are covered in a multitude of small polyps, typically adorned in fiery red or energetic orange, adding a splash of color to shallow reefs. This coral also provides vital shelter and refuge for various marine creatures.
